Katherine Cousineau, MSW, PA-C

Therapist & Psychiatric Provider | Mt. Adams Behavioral Health

Kate Cousineau is both a licensed therapist and psychiatric provider serving as the clinical lead for Mt. Adams Behavioral Health. With more than 20 years of experience spanning child welfare, family therapy, individual therapy, primary care, and psychiatry, she brings a compassionate, whole-person approach to healing and recovery.

Kate’s clinical philosophy blends evidence-based psychiatry with mindfulness-based psychotherapy. She believes deeply in creating space where people can reconnect with their inner wisdom, release stored pain, and find sustainable wholeness.

In her psychiatric practice, Kate integrates mindful awareness with the judicious use of medication when appropriate—seeing pharmacologic support as a supportive tool towards emotional balance and clarity.

Her passion lies in developing intentional, innovative, and intensive healing environments—programs that go beyond weekly therapy to help individuals struggling with complex mental health challenges find deep healing.
