Kate Cousineau, LCASW, PA-C
Therapist & reformed Psychiatric Provider
Hi! I’m Kate, my work bridges modern mental health care with spiritual and energetic healing traditions, honoring the understanding that true healing happens when we address the mind, body, and spirit together.
I bring over two decades of experience in psychiatric medicine, psychotherapy, and group-based treatment. Over the years, my work has increasingly focused on the deeper layers of healing—how stress, emotional experiences, and trauma are held in the nervous system and the body, and how these patterns shape both our inner lives and physical health.
My approach is informed by nervous system science, mindfulness practices, hypnotherapy, and energy anatomy, including chakra-based frameworks that explore how emotional and psychological experiences are stored and expressed in the body. I don’t see symptoms as something to fight or eliminate, but as meaningful signals—messages pointing toward areas that need attention, care, and integration.
In my work with adults, I create a calm, relational, and grounded space where people can slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with themselves. Through hypnotherapy, nervous system regulation, and guided inner work, I help clients access deeper states of awareness where insight, healing, and change can unfold naturally.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing is not about fixing or forcing transformation. It’s about restoring safety, listening to inner wisdom, and allowing the body and psyche to reorganize in their own time. My role is to walk alongside people as they come back into balance, clarity, and a deeper sense of self-trust.
I live and practice in the Columbia River Gorge, where the pace and culture mirror the values that guide my work. If you’re ready for deep healing, I’m ready to help you.
